General Finishes

Here is a Vintage Hutch that I gutted. I took the glass out and replaced the side doors with vintage metal decor that my brother specially welded to fit. I then dry brushed Bronze Pearl Effects over it to give it a more modern feel. The bottom doors I inserted mirrors and then used Van Dyke Brown Glaze Effects to give them an old aged look. I took the glass shelves out and replaced the glass for three custom built wine racks built to slide in. They were painted with Bronze Pearl Effects to match the metal details along with all the hardware. I completely removed the two inner doors to show off the wine display. I then painted the hutch with Millstone Milk Paint, lightly distressed it and then added Van Dyke Glaze Effects on all the details. Lastly, I sealed everything three times with Satin High Performance Topcoat.
