General Finishes

When I bought the desk, I thought wow, maybe this was used by an newspaper editor.  Then I thought, hmm...I've got some old newspapers from The Paterson Evening News from 1915, I have to use them on this desk!  Needless to say, the desk came out awesome & I had a huge response & wait list for this desk!!  I used General Finishes Lamp Black Milk Paint, my go to color choice when I need to paint furniture black.  Also used Modge Podge to adhere the newspaper to the desk drawers & then General Finishes Flat Out Flat sealer to seal the whole desk except for the top.  The top was re-done in General Finishes Nutmeg Gel Stain & sealed with Minwax Polyurethane.
