Piano turned Wine Bar

By Crystal at Eight Crusty Brushes

Hi My names Crystal from Eight Crusty Brushes.  I was given this 100+ yr old Burl wood piano by some friends.  I loved it and hoped it could be tuned and fixed for my kids to enjoy.  After having a tuning professional check it out I was informed it would never play again.  He said to go ahead and trash it :( This beauty was never going to be headed to a landfill.  She was pretty just sitting there as is.  I decided she would be even better converted into a wine bar.  I removed the Harp, keys, strings and all the hundreds of pins.  Once that was finished I began the long process of putting her back together and converting her.  I used General Finishes Milk Paint in Seagull Gray and Queenstown Gray.  Sealed with HPTC in Semi-gloss to finish her off.  I LOVE the way she turned out and I hope you do to!!
