Peeling Billboard Inspired Cabinet

I love billboards that are peeling and showing so many different layers of so many different stories and I wanted to recreate this on a piece of furniture.

Used Gf Persimmon as the main colour, decoupaged some beautiful wrapping paper to front and sides, protected with GF Topcoat, then a layer of Crackle Tex(Artisan Enhancements) over the decoupage. Used a custom mix of GF Holiday Red and Tuscan Red and a custom mix of Autentico Paint in blue peeled away with a dampened sea sponge.

Added accents and drips in Patina Green, Sunglow and Persian Blue Milkpaints just because I could! Covered everyting in Red Sienna Glaze effects and protected with GF HP Topcoat in Satin. Love the turqoise swallow handle to finish it all off.  I used  Georgian Cherry Gel Stain on the top which compliments the bright colours beautifully.
