General Finishes

I did this project for my moms kitchen. The island came with the house and was quite drab. As was the whole kitchen. But it had big potential. I painted the base with a durable latex in black semi-gloss. Attached door mats cut to fit on either side, and painted them. Then stained the top in a provincial stain. It's not the first island transformation I have done, but it's the most dramatic after.
