Dresser

By Shabulous, Owner

I purchased this dresser from a friend.  Her grandfather had built it himself, many, many years ago.  It is one solid piece of furniture!!!  About a decade ago, she decided to "crackle" the finish and paint it in a peach color.  That is how it looked when I rescued it.

I decided to keep the crackle, instead of stripping the piece, and just "go with it".

Painting over the crackle with Milk Paint and Chalk Paint, and blending colors, then adding a Brown Glaze, I was able to see this amazing piece of furniture transform into a beautiful work of art.  I replaced the hardware and this beauty was sold and out the door before I could post she was for sale.
