This is one of my favorites because she is a simple beauty that will quietly display your beautiful pieces, and honorably hold all of your deep secrets.
The painting process I used….was just that…. a process. I layered on paint and textures by painting one streak each of Behr Night Club, Behr Writing Paper and Valspar Mink across the top and across the front of the drawers. Next I used a white wash across the top and the front of the drawers and then kind of scraped them with a wire brush. Next I applied General Finishes Gava Gel, then wiped it back to blend it all in. I let it dry for a day, then applied General Finishes high performance top coat to seal. I created a wash using 1/2 Cup of Behr Night Club and 1/2 Cup of water for the frame of the dresser. I white washed the entire thing with a chippy brush in various directions to bring it all together
