Police Officers have the hardest job I can imagine. Protect those who can't protect themselves. Sacrifice time with family to serve the community. Put their lives on the line daily and without hesitation. I can't imagine doing it myself but I am eternally grateful for the sacrifice the men and women in blue make for my safety. After hearing about a friend from high school being shot in the line of duty, I was brought to tears. I couldn't just cry, so I painted. I made dozens of signs to raise funds for Officer Pueblo of the Chandler Police Department because it was the only way I know how to give back. This grew into more signs being made for the police community. I will continue to create signs to raise funds for officers in need as long as I can. I am grateful that General Finishes gel stain looks so wonderful and really makes these pieces stand out as art.
